Golfweek’s 2024 rankings have positioned Apes Hill Barbados’ championship 18-hole course in their inaugural “Top 100 International Courses” list, securing the 72nd spot. This marks a significant achievement for the course designed by Ron Kirby.
Previously, Golfweek’s Best had segregated classic and modern international courses, but this year’s comprehensive ranking combines all eras outside the U.S. Apes Hill also shines regionally, ranking fifth in “Golfweek’s 2024 Top 50 Courses You Can Play” across the Caribbean, Mexico, Costa Rica, and the Atlantic Islands.

Apes Hill is no stranger to accolades, having been named Development of the Year by Golf Inc. Magazine and sweeping four categories at the 2023 World Golf Awards in Abu Dhabi, including ‘World’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue’ and ‘World’s Best Eco-Friendly Golf Facility’.
