The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) has selected Antigua and Barbuda as the venue for the 43rd Caribbean Travel Marketplace (CTM), set to take place from May 18-22, 2025. This major event will draw global buyers and regional suppliers, positioning Antigua and Barbuda as a rising star in Caribbean tourism.
“Our twin-island nation is now a focal point for international travel and investment,” said Colin C. James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, noting a 16% increase in stay-over arrivals, surpassing 2019 records.

CHTA President Nicola Madden-Greig emphasized the event’s significance, stating: “Marketplace remains the Caribbean’s largest and most important marketing platform, and we are thrilled to host it in Antigua and Barbuda.”
The 2025 Marketplace will include a Responsible Tourism Day, focusing on sustainable practices, as well as the Caribbean Travel Forum, where industry leaders will discuss key issues. The event will also feature the return of the Caribbean MICE Exchange and a new focus on maximizing direct online bookings through cutting-edge digital marketing and AI technology. Awards recognizing industry excellence will also be presented.
