Caribbean News – Caribbean Tourism Organisation Relaunches UK and Europe Marketing Push

The Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) has announced plans to reignite its marketing efforts across the UK and Europe. This initiative marks a significant partnership with the CTO Chapter in these regions, which includes over 85 travel-related companies and organisations.

The UK & Europe Chapter is set to roll out a series of marketing campaigns aimed at engaging consumers, the travel industry, and media. These efforts are designed to elevate the Caribbean’s profile as a premier global travel destination, aligning with the broader goals of the CTO secretariat.

The marketing activities will focus on digital campaigns, partnerships, commercial initiatives, market analysis, and ongoing collaboration with media, trade associations, airlines, government bodies, and tour operators.

Colin Pegler, chair of the UK & Europe Chapter, expressed enthusiasm about resuming the partnership with the CTO secretariat after a four-year pause. “This collaboration is crucial to reinforcing the Caribbean’s presence in our markets,” Pegler stated. “Our board is fully committed to delivering a strong action plan for 2025 to ensure the Caribbean remains a top travel destination worldwide.”

Florian Valmy-Devillers, director of the CTO Chapter, emphasized the importance of a unified strategy across key UK, European, and emerging markets. “From cross-channel consumer campaigns to immersive trade training, we are focused on impactful activations that revitalize the ‘One Sea, One Voice, One Caribbean’ message in our target markets and beyond,” he added.
