The upcoming SIAL Paris 2024 will showcase 26 remarkable Caribbean brands under the ‘Absolutely Caribbean’ pavilion, featuring companies from Barbados, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago. The world’s largest food tradeshow, taking place from October 19-23, will give center stage to the vibrant, exotic, and diverse flavors of the Caribbean. Caribbean Export Development Agency, with support from the European Union, has curated this selection of businesses, ranging from established names to up-and-coming entrepreneurs.

Among the standout brands is Haitian chocolate maker Choko Lakay, which started in 2016 and now partners with over 200 female farmers to grow organic cacao. Their premium products include cocoa butter, cocoa nibs, and even chocolate soap and massage oil. Saint Lucia’s Dark Seamoss will also showcase its organic sea moss products, from health drinks to concentrated powders known for their gut-boosting and cholesterol-lowering benefits.
