Bonaire, the Caribbean island renowned for its diving, culinary scene, and adventurous spirit, is set to welcome Hilton’s first-ever resort on the island. In an exciting move, the popular Delfins Beach Resort will join Hilton’s Tapestry Collection in 2025, bringing new prestige to this beloved destination.
Delfins Beach Resort has long been a favorite among Dutch travelers but has struggled to capture the American market’s attention. As part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, the resort aims to change that, offering a gateway for travelers from the U.S. to experience the upscale amenities and island charm Bonaire is known for.

One of Delfins’ standout features is Brass Boer, a celebrated restaurant with an international pedigree. As the Caribbean branch of the Michelin-starred De Librije from the Netherlands, Brass Boer has been awarded the title of best restaurant in the Caribbean for three consecutive years in the prestigious 50 Best Caribbean Restaurants. This restaurant has been a significant draw for Delfins and is expected to entice even more guests with its remarkable Caribbean-inspired cuisine.
Originally opened in 2019, Delfins Beach Resort offers 148 oceanfront rooms, complete with small beach access and premium snorkeling. The resort’s facilities include two magnesium pools, a beach bar operated by the Brass Boer team, a dive shop, and a boutique. A range of accommodations is available, including multi-bedroom villas equipped with full kitchens, some featuring private pools and secluded spaces, ideal for both families and couples seeking privacy.

While there are no announced plans for renovations or upgrades, Delfins’ integration into the Hilton brand alone is expected to raise its profile. This rebranding effort is anticipated to attract more U.S. visitors, enhancing Bonaire’s tourism sector.
Bonaire’s accommodation offerings mainly include smaller, boutique-style hotels, with only one other major American brand represented by Courtyard Marriott. This shift with Delfins now under Hilton’s portfolio adds diversity and appeal for travelers looking for familiar international brands.
Starting in January, Delfins Beach Resort will be bookable through Hilton’s platform. Rates remain competitive, with standard rooms starting at approximately $145 per night, making it a valuable option among Caribbean destinations.
