Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to expand its footprint in the Caribbean with the upcoming launch of Dreams Cap Cana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic. Developed in partnership with Cobbo Bay Developers SA, the new resort is scheduled to open by the end of the year, featuring 519 luxurious accommodations, including 40 villas and 100 swim-up suites. The property is designed to offer families an ideal Caribbean getaway with a blend of relaxation and entertainment.
The resort will be situated in the prestigious gated community of Cap Cana, just 15 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport. Guests will enjoy the pristine Juanillo Beach, along with access to Cap Cana’s premier amenities, such as one of Central and South America’s largest inland marinas, two amusement parks, the Los Establos Equestrian Center with riding arenas, stables, and polo fields, and the renowned Punta Espada golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Dreams Cap Cana Resort & Spa will offer a comprehensive Unlimited-Luxury experience, including gourmet dining at 10 à la carte restaurants, premium beverages at six bars, 24/7 room and concierge services, and daily activities for all ages. The property will also feature an 11,000-square-foot spa with 13 treatment rooms, four pools, a lazy river, pickleball and tennis courts, a theater, and versatile meeting spaces. Families can take advantage of the Explorer’s Club for children and Core Zone Teens Club, while adults have ample opportunities to relax and rejuvenate.

The Dominican Republic remains a key market for Hyatt, with other recent openings like Hyatt Centric Santo Domingo and Secrets Tides Punta Cana. By the end of 2025, Hyatt expects to have nearly 20 branded hotels and resorts operating in the region.
