A Technological Milestone
CEO Bob Washington emphasized the transformative potential of the agreement, which includes the introduction of sports betting, virtual sports, and iGaming in the Caribbean. He noted that this would help combat the prevalence of unlicensed operators while ensuring proper tax revenues for governments in the region.
“This groundbreaking deal will help West Indies cricket reclaim its position as a global powerhouse and usher in a technological first for the region,” he said.
The partnership will launch its operations on April 1, 2025, and is anticipated to be the largest commercial agreement in the history of Cricket West Indies.
