The SF Group, a leading marina construction and development company from Sweden, has announced the start of excavation for Port Nimara, a groundbreaking maritime hub set to reshape Anguilla’s economic and tourism sectors.
Strategically positioned between the esteemed Cap Juluca and Altamer estates, Port Nimara is a multi-faceted nautical development offering 118 berths for vessels up to 260 feet. The project also includes a 62-room five-star hotel by a renowned New York luxury brand, 18 beachfront villas, and plans for an additional 18 upland villas and 45 residences. Its ideal location—26 nautical miles from Gustavia, Saint Barthélemy, and 11 nautical miles from Sint Maarten’s international airport—makes it an attractive destination for global travelers and yacht enthusiasts.

A joint venture between TEI Inc., a New York-based development firm led by Francis Greenburger, and Antillean Development LLC, under the leadership of Anguillan developer George A. Fraser, the project is designed to drive sustainable growth. David Mizrahi, managing partner and CEO of SF Investments, stated: “Our vision is to establish a world-class maritime destination that enhances Anguilla’s natural beauty while unlocking unprecedented economic opportunities.”
Port Nimara is expected to create 200 direct jobs and approximately 500 indirect positions across various sectors, including hospitality, maritime services, retail, and support industries. Developed by Consigli in collaboration with SF Marina, the project will feature a premium yacht club, advanced customs and immigration services, a scenic waterfront promenade, top-tier security systems, and state-of-the-art maintenance facilities.

Sustainability is a core focus of the project. SF Marina has incorporated eco-friendly designs and marine conservation measures to align with Anguilla’s commitment to protecting its natural environment. In addition, Anguilla’s airport is undergoing a major expansion, including extending the runway to 7,800 feet to accommodate private jets and commercial flights from key international hubs. A VIP FBO terminal is also part of the upgrade.
