Barbados News – Caribbean Airlines Expands Regional Connectivity with New Direct Barbados-Tobago Service

Caribbean Airlines is strengthening inter-island travel across the Caribbean with its direct flight service between Barbados and Tobago, offering travelers faster, more seamless connections between two of the region’s most sought-after destinations.

The twice-weekly service operates on Wednesdays and Sundays, providing convenient nonstop travel between Bridgetown and Tobago in approximately 55 minutes. By removing the need for connecting flights through Port of Spain, the route significantly reduces travel time and creates more flexibility for both leisure and business travelers.

The launch reflects Caribbean Airlines’ continued focus on enhancing regional mobility while supporting tourism, trade, and cultural connections within the Caribbean.

A Gateway to Two Distinct Caribbean Experiences

The new route makes it easier for travelers to experience the unique appeal of both islands in a single trip.

Barbados continues to attract visitors with its vibrant culture, historic landmarks, world-famous beaches, and culinary scene. Travelers can explore the UNESCO-listed Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison, visit iconic rum distilleries such as Mount Gay, enjoy water sports and snorkeling, or experience the lively atmosphere of the popular Oistins Fish Fry.

In contrast, Tobago offers a more relaxed and nature-focused Caribbean escape. Known for its pristine coastline and eco-tourism experiences, the island is home to attractions such as Pigeon Point and the Main Ridge Forest Reserve—one of the oldest protected rainforests in the Western Hemisphere.
