For instance, one of the highlights of the winter season is the 11-day cruise departing from Miami on January 24, 2025, aboard Explora II. This voyage, titled “A Journey into Creole Culture and Sainted Harbours,” takes travelers to stunning destinations such as St. Barts; Grande-Terre, Guadeloupe; Bequia Island, Grenadines; Castries, St. Lucia; St. Johns, Antigua; and Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands.
Explora Journeys has carefully crafted shore tours and excursions that immerse guests in the local culture, offering unique experiences tied to the Caribbean’s rich history, food, landscapes, and landmarks. Each tour is designed to provide a personalized experience, with small groups of up to 25 guests, ensuring an intimate exploration of the region’s hidden gems.

Guests can also take advantage of a scenic flight over Cozumel, Mexico, and the Yucatan Jungle, landing near the ancient ruins of Chichén Itzá for a guided tour.
Both Explora I and Explora II are designed with the theme of “Homes at Sea,” accommodating 922 guests in 461 suites, penthouses, and residences, all offering ocean views, private balconies, and in-suite dining. As Explora I currently sails the Mediterranean, it will reposition to the Caribbean in late November 2024. Meanwhile, Explora II, under construction in Italy, is expected to make its inaugural voyage on September 16, 2024, before joining its sister ship in the Caribbean.
Explora Journeys is also expanding its fleet with four more ships planned for the future, including the LNG-powered Explora III and Explora IV, set for delivery in 2026 and 2027.
