This announcement was made by CPL CEO Pete Russell, who also confirmed that Guyana will host the 2025 final, marking its fourth consecutive year as the venue for this prestigious match​.

Russell expressed his excitement about the partnership with both nations, stating, “Guyana and Barbados have been amazing partners for CPL over the last 12 years. We would like to thank the governments of both Guyana and Barbados who have agreed to host the conclusion of CPL.” This announcement is particularly significant for Barbados, a two-time CPL champion, having claimed titles in 2014 and 2019 as the Barbados Tridents​.
