These awards form part of the prestigious Tales of the Cocktail conference, held annually in New Orleans, USA.
The coconut-infused Cut & Dry is the only Barbadian product to receive this recognition, making it a proud moment for the island’s celebrated rum industry. Distilled at the iconic Stade’s West Indies Rum Distillery, this standout spirit is crafted entirely in Barbados using traditional techniques and local coconuts, resulting in a flavour profile that authentically reflects the island’s culture and craftsmanship.

General Manager of West Indies Rum Distillery, Andrew Hassell, shared the team’s excitement over the nomination:

The Tales of the Cocktail conference, running from July 20–25, draws spirits professionals and cocktail aficionados from around the world. The Spirited Awards, established in 2007, are regarded as one of the industry’s highest honours, celebrating excellence across bars, bartenders, and spirits products globally. The 2025 awards ceremony will be held on July 24 at The Fillmore New Orleans.
