Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across Barbados are set to benefit from a groundbreaking new initiative designed to boost innovation and digital transformation. The Barbados Trust Fund Limited (BTFL) will launch its Smart Tech for Innovation (STI) Fest—an eight-week, hands-on training programme aimed at helping entrepreneurs, business owners, and managers leverage smart technologies to modernize their operations.
The Smart Tech Fest begins on Tuesday, October 14, and runs until Thursday, December 4, with sessions taking place at Pelican House, Harbour Road, St. Michael, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The programme will serve as a services incubator, offering participants immersive training in digital tools, innovative service models, and strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and market competitiveness.
Through a combination of interactive workshops, mentorship, and applied learning, attendees will gain practical insights into adopting technology-driven solutions that can future-proof their businesses.
