Frontier Airlines is giving travelers even more flexibility with its FRONTIER Miles loyalty program — and that’s good news for flyers heading to and from the Caribbean. Members can now use their miles not only for flights but also for popular add-ons like baggage, seat upgrades, priority boarding, and change-fee waivers.
The move marks another major step in the airline’s ongoing transformation, “The New Frontier,” aimed at offering more value and comfort to passengers while maintaining its low-cost advantage.

More Ways to Redeem Miles
Members can now choose from three redemption bundles, each designed to suit different travel styles and budgets:
- Economy Bundle (from 2,000 miles): Includes a carry-on bag, standard seat selection, and no change or cancellation fees.
- Premium Bundle (from 4,000 miles): Adds a premium seat selection, a carry-on bag, and full flexibility on changes and cancellations.
- Business Bundle (from 8,000 miles): Offers the ultimate experience — a carry-on, two checked bags (up to 50 lbs each), UpFront Plus seat selection, and full change or cancellation flexibility.
According to Bobby Schroeter, Frontier’s Chief Commercial Officer, these changes give members “more choice, more flexibility, and more value,” with award flights starting at just 5,000 miles and bundles from as little as 2,000 miles.
Enhancing the Travel Experience
Frontier’s UpFront Plus seats are part of the airline’s latest comfort-focused upgrades, offering extra legroom, guaranteed aisle or window seats, and an empty middle seat for added personal space. Located in the first two rows, these seats give travelers a taste of premium comfort without the premium price.
The airline has also introduced unlimited companion travel for Elite Platinum and Elite Diamond status members — allowing them to bring a different travel partner on each flight at no extra cost. And in early 2026, Frontier plans to debut its first class product, blending extra space and comfort with the brand’s trademark affordability.
