Waldorf Astoria, Hilton’s flagship luxury brand, has unveiled plans for a new high-end residential resort in the Caribbean, marking a significant expansion into one of the region’s most sought-after destinations—Turks and Caicos. Scheduled to debut in 2028, the Waldorf Astoria Turks and Caicos on Dellis Cay will become only the second Waldorf-branded resort in the entire Caribbean and the first in the English-speaking Caribbean.
This exclusive development is a partnership between Hilton and Desarrollos Hotelco, a group with a growing Caribbean presence that includes the Ritz-Carlton Grace Bay and the Ritz-Carlton Aruba. The new project underscores Hilton’s commitment to expanding its luxury footprint in the region, with ambitions to nearly double its Caribbean and Latin America portfolio in the coming years.

Set on the secluded, low-density Dellis Cay—just a short boat ride from Providenciales—the resort will offer 175 guest accommodations. These include 62 hotel rooms and suites alongside 113 branded residences, ranging from spacious two-bedroom condos to expansive six-bedroom oceanfront villas.
“Turks and Caicos is a key addition to our luxury pipeline,” said Pablo Maturana, Vice President of Development for the Caribbean and Latin America at Hilton. “We’re committed to growing our footprint in the region.”
The resort will feature a suite of world-class amenities designed to meet the demands of today’s luxury travelers. Highlights include multiple signature dining venues, a 1,250-square-meter spa, retail outlets, a library, and comprehensive meeting and event spaces—among them a 250-square-meter ballroom and a 45-square-meter boardroom.

Architectural plans emphasize harmony with the island’s natural surroundings, incorporating low-rise structures and luxurious features such as beach bungalows, private plunge pools, and the brand’s iconic Peacock Alley lounge.
This launch is part of Waldorf Astoria’s broader global expansion, with upcoming developments in destinations including Costa Rica, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, and Vietnam. The brand currently operates or is developing more than 20 residential properties worldwide.
With over 280 hotels in operation across the Caribbean and Latin America, and another 135 properties in the pipeline, Hilton continues to strengthen its regional presence—positioning Turks and Caicos as its newest luxury frontier.
