The world of ultra-luxury, small-ship cruising is welcoming a new icon. Following in the wake of Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons, Orient Express is preparing to make its mark on the seas with the debut of its first ultra-luxury yacht.

Starting next year, the legendary brand will launch the Orient Express Corinthian, which it calls the “world’s largest luxury sailing yacht.” The vessel’s inaugural voyage will span two weeks, sailing from Lisbon to Barbados, before beginning a series of Caribbean itineraries.

Travelers can expect an array of options, from quick two-night escapes to longer nine-day journeys, with access to exclusive ports such as St Barth and even Richard Branson’s Moskito Island.

The ship will house just 54 opulent suites, ranging in size from 485 square feet to nearly 2,500 square feet, ensuring an intimate and highly personalized cruising experience.

Onboard dining will be a highlight, with five distinct restaurants guided by the culinary vision of Michelin-starred Chef Yannick Alleno, who also curates cuisine for Orient Express trains.

Additional amenities will include two swimming pools, a theater, and even a recording studio, creating a one-of-a-kind experience at sea.

Now under the Accor portfolio, Orient Express is extending its legacy of timeless luxury from rail to the open waters — and the Caribbean is set to be its next stage.
