Royal Caribbean is charting a bold course for 2026 with major upgrades planned for two of its popular Caribbean-focused cruise ships—Harmony of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas. As part of the cruise line’s Royal Amplified program, these transformations aim to deliver even more entertainment, dining, and adventure to guests sailing through the Caribbean.
The amplified vessels, now open for bookings, will debut in spring 2026, offering refreshed onboard experiences inspired by guest favorites and next-generation amenities. These upgrades follow the successful revitalization of Allure of the Seas, which has already set a high bar for passenger satisfaction.

What’s New Aboard Harmony of the Seas:
- A Caribbean-style pool deck anchored by The Lime & Coconut, and an enhanced adults-only Solarium.
- Brand-new dining venues including:
- Samba Grill Brazilian Steakhouse
- El Loco Fresh
- Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade
- Expanded nightlife and entertainment offerings.
- The largest Casino Royale in the fleet.
- Upgraded staterooms, including the family-favorite Ultimate Family Suite.

After debuting in Europe in summer 2026, Harmony will sail out of Port Canaveral, Florida with 5- and 7-night Caribbean itineraries, featuring calls at top destinations such as Perfect Day at CocoCay and the all-new Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island, launching in December 2025.
What’s Coming to Liberty of the Seas:
- A reimagined pool deck with new private casitas and the Lime & Coconut bar.
- An all-new Royal Escape Room experience.
- Expanded dining with:
- Izumi Teppanyaki
- El Loco Fresh
- A new Starbucks café onboard.
Liberty will set sail from Galveston, Texas in winter 2026, offering Western Caribbean cruises and stops at the soon-to-open Royal Beach Club Cozumel, scheduled for a 2026 debut.

These ship upgrades are the latest in Royal Caribbean’s Royal Amplified initiative, which began in 2018 to enhance the guest experience across the fleet. The transformation of Harmony and Liberty will join that of Alaska-focused Ovation of the Seas, also scheduled for a 2026 refresh.
With more than 300 destinations across 28 ships and four more vessels on the way, Royal Caribbean continues to push the limits of what a cruise vacation can be.
