Le Shack, Crane Road, St. Philip
Owner-managed by chef Jean Jacques Carquillat, Le Shack offers a delightful fusion of French and Caribbean cuisine in a casual and fun ambiance. The restaurant uses only the finest ingredients, presenting an eclectic mix of traditional and creative dishes. Every Wednesday, guests can enjoy their wood-fired oven picnic pizza. Buzo Osteria Italiana, Hastings, Christ Church
A classic! Located at the entrance of the Courtyard by Marriot complex, Buzo Osteria Italiana is a popular new addition to Barbados’ dining scene. Italian Chef Cristian Grini offers a reasonably priced menu featuring generous portions of antipasti, fresh pasta dishes, pizzas, and various meat, fish, seafood, and vegetarian choices. The lively atmosphere includes a martini bar with signature cocktails, a show kitchen, and a pizza bar. Reservations are a must due to its popularity.
George Washington Coffee House, Bridgetown, St. Michael
The George Washington Coffee House combines history with an authentic coffee experience. The a la carte menu features all-day breakfast and lunch selections, offering a fusion of Latin, Caribbean, African, and European flavors. The relaxed atmosphere is complemented by a cozy indoor/outdoor garden café, serving a delightful mix of smells and flavors.
East Coast
Zemi East Coast Cafe, Bathsheba, St. Joseph
Zemi East Coast Cafe is a casual eatery located in the Hillcrest Community Centre in Bathsheba. It captures the spirit of the East Coast with views of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged coastline. Zemi offers good coffee, dining, and cocktails, and is situated near the well-known Atlantis restaurant and the Eco Lifestyle & Lodge.
West Coast
Open Kitchen, Canewood, St. Thomas
Open Kitchen is a chic bistro emphasizing local and organic produce, gourmet coffee, and pizza. Popular for its Friday and Saturday night a la carte dinners with occasional live entertainment, the bistro also offers breakfast and lunch with daily specials. Located near the ABC Highway in Canewood, Open Kitchen also features the Wine Cave, a cellar-style wine shop. Catering services are available as well.
The Rustic Chef, Holetown, St. James & NEW LOCATION soon coming at Rockley Golf Club
Award-winning Polish Chef Dawid Pniak brings European cuisine with an international twist to Limegrove Lifestyle Centre.
