Barbados News – BIBA Charity Golf Classic Returns to Royal Westmoreland to Support Kidney Care

Golfers, corporate teams and supporters of community healthcare are once again invited to take part in one of Barbados’ premier charity sporting events as the Fifth Annual Ben Arrindell International Golf Classic returns to Royal Westmoreland on Friday, August 28, 2026.

Hosted by the BIBA Charity, the annual tournament honours the legacy of the late Ben Arrindell while raising vital funds for the Artificial Kidney Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). Over the years, the event has grown into an important fixture on Barbados’ golfing calendar, bringing together the island’s business community to support healthcare through sport.

Supporting a Vital Cause

More than just a golf tournament, the Ben Arrindell International Golf Classic has made a meaningful contribution to improving kidney care in Barbados. Previous fundraising efforts have helped provide much-needed medical equipment, including dialysis machines and treatment chairs, strengthening the Artificial Kidney Unit’s ability to care for patients across the island.

Every team that participates helps support the continued delivery of life-saving dialysis treatment while honouring the memory of Ben Arrindell through a lasting community legacy.
